Heath Turner grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  He has been interested in art since the 7th grade. He was drawn to sculpture and painting in high-school as well as ceramics, throwing on the wheel, and hand building.  He went to Brevard College to study sculpture and there he started to explore different materials such as metal and wood.  He became very interested in the cast method, showing off his new skills during his senior show displaying a series of casted hearts.

After graduating college he has moved to Charlotte, NC and is working as a freelance artist. He has found another passion through painting large abstract paintings for his clients.
